Come bard till you barf with the third annual Bard-a-thon fundraiser!  Read the  works of William Shakespeare and raise money for Asheville's professional theatre in this unique fundraiser.  Like a walk-a-thon or fun run, volunteers ask their friends and family to sponsor them - but instead of a pledge per mile, we get a pledge per play!   Read one play or stay up as long as you can and read all weekend - each reader gets a very special "Bard Local" t-shirt and is eligible to win prizes from NCSC's local sponsors.   Sign up is in August 2010 - contact NC Stage for more information.  Admission to watch the readings is free to the public.
