Dance begins with rhythm. The subtle beat that measures a pirouette, that syncopates a shuffle, that shakes, spins, stomps, soars and sets a foot tapping.  It’s not hard to follow the movement of Asheville from “Swan Lake” to square-dancing. You may glide across a ballroom into a company of belly-dancers, and on the way experience the best of modern dance, jazz, tap and spicy Latin rhythms. And that may just be on one night. Enjoying Asheville’s rich diversity of companies and performers doesn’t exclude those with two left feet. You can dance your way through town without ever even leaving your seat.
