The Asheville Choral Society, 150 voices strong, performs innovative and challenging choral masterpieces. Under the direction of Lenora Thom, the auditioned chorus presents three concert programs per season with two performances of each program. Professional instrumental accompaniment ranges from a pop combo to a 30 piece orchestra. The diverse membership brings considerable choral experience, a variety of professional music backgrounds, and a passion for singing to the repertoire.
