The Black Mountain Center for the Arts (BMCA) is a community arts center in the heart of Black Mountain. We are in the renovated Old City Hall, Jail and City Garage. The programs of the BMCA are focused on convening, gathering and challenging our audiences while providing opportunities for local and regional artists to share their talents and expertise. We offer a space for the confluence of ideas, inspiration and creativity. Concerts range from traditional Appalachian music to Jazz and Americana genres. Seasonal theatre is offered by local companies.
